How does the 20th Annual VIRTUAL Bike for Shelter work?

Step 1: Pick a date in the month of May, the length, and location of your ride.
Step 2: Register for your FREE virtual ride below!
Step 3: Get ready for your ride:

  • Print your virtual Bike for Shelter bib
  • Put on your best bike riding outfit
  • Remember your helmet
  • Review bike safety guidelines
  • Pump up those tires!!

Step 4: Complete your ride and stop to take a selfie!

Step 5: Post your selfie, tag Watson Children’s Shelter on social media and share with friends using #bikeforshelter. This will enter you to win a family themed raffle basket with a value over $250 in family fun activities, goodies, and gift cards!

Step 6: Look out for your t-shirt, medal, and other Bike for Shelter swag in the mail. *while supplies last*

RAISE and RIDE for Montana children in crisis!

We welcome you to raise funds and ride in the 20th annual VIRTUAL Bike for Shelter. By gathering pledges, YOU are helping Watson Children’s Shelter provide a safe and nurturing home to abused and neglected Montana children. Riders of the 2019 Raise and Ride raised over $1,500!! WAY to GO riders!

How it works: 

  1. Click HERE to create your own Facebook fundraiser. Title it “2020 Raise and Ride for Watson Children’s Shelter!”
  2. From now until May 30th ask your friends, family, neighbors to help support your efforts.
  3. START SHARING – encourage everyone to donate to your Facebook fundraising page or mail their donation directly to Watson Children’s Shelter – 4978 Buckhouse Lane. Missoula, MT 59804.
 *Note: 100% of the money you raise through Facebook goes directly to Watson Children’s Shelter!

2020 T-Shirt Artwork Contest

Contest Guidelines:

  • Student must be in 1st through 5th grade
  • Drawing must be of a TROUT riding a bicycle
  • Drawing must be in marker or crayon on plain white 8 ½ x 11 paper
  • Artist’s name (First and Last), phone number, grade, school & teacher’s name must be on the back
  • Entries must be received at Watson Children’s Shelter, 4978 Buckhouse Lane, Missoula, MT 59804, by Monday, February 24th

Contest winners will have their artwork displayed on all of the event t-shirts and medals, receive a pizza party for their entire class and a special award plaque!

Our 2020 T-Shirt Contest Winner is Luke, a 4th grader at St. Joseph School!
