WARNING: In consideration for participating in the 20th annual Bike for Shelter, Saturday May 30th, 2019, I assume responsibility for all my actions while on the grounds, facilities, traveling to and/or from any such facility, or engaged in an activity under the supervision of my adult team leader, and/or Watson Children’s Shelter staff and volunteers. I also acknowledge that helmets are required. All children must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult at all times. I know that bicycling is a potentially hazardous activity to myself and my additional riders. As the Primary Rider, I release Watson Children’s Shelter from any discomforts, dangers, or risks that I or my additional riders may encounter during this event. These discomforts, dangers, and risks include, but are not limited to: heart attacks, injuries to the feet and legs, strains, sprains, broken bones, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including heat or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the roads. I hereby affirm that I and my additional riders are in good physical condition, properly trained and do not suffer from any disability that would prevent participation. By signing, I also give Watson Children’s Shelter permission to photograph and to use pictures of me for marketing or fundraising materials.
